MoxiKids
is for kids ready to shape the world.
Kids light up around water. They chase it, splash in it, dream of it. And yet, Hendersonville doesn’t have a space built just for them to play and thrive in water. That’s where the very first MoxiKids campaign begins.
This fall break, kids ages 6-15 are invited to design a water play area for Hendersonville. Not adults. Not planners. Kids.
Dates & Times:
Monday, October 6th: 12:00—1:30pm
Wednesday, October 8th: 2:00—3:30pm
Friday, October 10th: 2:00—3:30pm
What happens in a session?
In these free creative drop-in sessions, every child will
● dream up their version of water play: a splash pad, a pool, a creek play area, or something the world hasn’t seen yet.
● put it on paper or build it in 3D
● add their idea to the official campaign portfolio (every idea counts as a signature).
● craft their own bracelet; as a symbol of “I signed with my idea.”
● walk away with a thank-you card and flyers to pass on to friends.
Why it matters
We’re not collecting adult signatures. We’re collecting kids’ voices. Together, we’ll reach 400 kid-signatures, then present the portfolio to Hendersonville leaders. This is civic action through play, creativity, and courage: the heart of MoxiKids.

Can’t make it in person?
No problem. Your child’s idea still counts. If your family can’t attend a creative session, kids can create their Water Play idea at home. It can be a drawing, a model, or any other way they want to show their vision. Simply snap a picture of their idea and email it to moxikids@thekindervilla.com with your child’s first name and age in the subject line. We’ll add it to the campaign portfolio so their voice is part of the 400 kid signatures.
