Date: June 2, 2026
Time: 3:00—4:30 PM
Age Group: 6—9
Format: Drop-off workshop
Friendship shapes how children see themselves, connect with others, and move through the world. But real friendship is rarely talked about in a deeper, honest way with kids.
REAL ONES is a FlowKids workshop designed to help children explore what friendship actually means beyond simply fitting in or being liked. Through guided conversation, creative reflection, interactive activities, and emotional awareness, children learn how to recognize healthy connection, trust their inner compass, and build friendships rooted in authenticity, kindness, and mutual respect.
This workshop explores:
● the difference between close friends, acquaintances, and group dynamics
● how friendship feels emotionally and physically
● self-awareness and discernment in relationships
● belonging vs. fitting in
● navigating hurt feelings, exclusion, and repair
● using your voice and honoring your feelings
● what it means to be a “real one”
Children will participate in:
● guided group discussions
● friendship mapping activities
● reflection exercises
● role-play and real-life scenarios
● watercolor and creative expression
● a symbolic pendant ritual representing their own friendship compass
Each child leaves with tools to better understand themselves, recognize meaningful connection, and move through friendships with more confidence, emotional intelligence, and self-trust.
REAL ONES is not about teaching children to be “perfect friends.” It’s about helping them understand that real friendship begins with being true to themselves.
Workshop Details
